Overview

The Social Media Intern will contribute to The Brand House Collective brands social media content, social community management, and influencer relations.  This role will support the Kirkland's Home and Bed Bath & Beyond Home brands. This is a part time position.

Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Assist in overseeing the Bed Bath & Beyond Home and Kirkland’s Home social community, acting as the voice of the brand on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Create and curate engaging, on-brand content for social media channels.
  • Write compelling copy that resonates with Bed Bath & Beyond Home and Kirkland’s Home followers who love home decor and interior design.
  • Assist in maintaining a social content calendar and scheduling posts.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and the Ecommerce team to develop high-quality content.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Operations) to align content with business strategies and product inspiration.
  • Conduct ongoing social listening, monitoring relevant news, conversations, and trends to inform the team.

Influencer Relations

  • Identify and research influencers who align with Bed Bath & Beyond Home and  Kirkland’s Home’s brand values and aesthetic.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for influencers, managing outreach and building meaningful relationships.
  • Oversee influencer partnerships, including selecting products for promotion, and coordinating with the distribution center to confirm product availability and track shipping.
  • Maintain an organized system for managing contracts, communications, and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Pursing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations or a related field.
  • Excels in the ability to multi-task with the capacity to manage deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator (both verbally and written) with high-level organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Technical expertise in social media channels.
  • Analytical, creative and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in creating graphic design, photography, and video content tailored for social media platforms.
  • Experience with Facebook (Meta) Ads Manager a plus
  • Interest, background or prior experience in interior design or home decorating.
  • Interest, background or prior experience in influencer relations.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to drive to stores for content creation
