Overview

The Director Visual Presentation is responsible for creating and overseeing the visual strategy as the company stands-up it’s physical retail platforms, including store interiors, window displays, and product presentations that align with brand identity and sales goals. This position requires a strong understanding of visual merchandising, a strategic vision for product presentation, and the ability to manage a team to execute creative concepts and meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop retail concepts: Create and manage strategic visual merchandising concepts, including overall store flow, department layouts, seasonal presentations, and in-store visual standards.
  • Execute creative displays: Oversee the creation and execution of store interiors, window displays, and special event
  • Align with brand strategy: Ensure all visual presentations and product assortments are cohesive and reflect the brand's identity and business objectives.
  • Manage and lead a team: Direct and mentor a team of visual merchandising personnel to ensure consistent execution of visual
  • Analyze sales data: Use data and market insights to inform visual merchandising strategies and drive
  • Collaborate with other teams: Work with design, product development, and marketing teams to align merchandising strategies with the overall product and brand vision

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in visual merchandising and retail environments, often with a focus on home furnishings or related consumer
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as retail management, interior design, or graphic design is
  • Strong creative and leadership skills, along with proficiency in data analysis and inventory management
  • Ability to conduct trend analysis and understand consumer insights to inform product assortment and visual strategy.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment – walking, bending, lifting daily
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb a ladder on a regular basis
  • Ability to travel as business requires – some overnights required
