Overview

The Space Planning Manger will build the planogram platform as the company stands-up a multi-brand fleet of physical retail stores. This role will develop and oversee the strategic creation and implementation of planograms, the visual diagrams that dictate product placement on retail shelves. This role will use expertise and data to develop layouts that optimize sales, enhance customer experience, and manage inventory efficiently. The role will build and lead a team, collaborate with other departments, handle a growing number of transactions and brands, and ensure that merchandising strategies align with overall company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement long-term plans for product placement that support company
  • Manage and mentor merchandising and planogram design
  • Analyze sales data, consumer behavior, and market trends to inform strategic decisions for layout
  • Work closely with other departments, including sales, visual merchandising, and store operations, to align strategies and ensure successful
  • Oversee the creation and execution of planograms across various store formats and track compliance to ensure a consistent and effective brand image.
  • Manage the budget and resources for planogram related projects.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in retail merchandising, visual merchandising, or a related field is required, often with a proven track record of
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as marketing, business, or a related design field is often
  • Proficiency with planogram software (e.g., JDA, Nielsen Spaceman), space planning software, and other relevant technology is
  • Strong ability to interpret complex data to make data-driven decisions about product placement and
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to effectively guide teams and collaborate with other departments.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Ability to travel as needed
